Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hi dudes and dudets,
Ive just bought an akai mpc2000xl brand new, i live in the uk where we have 240v and 60hz power specs. I bought the akai in the uk, but it has american power supply spec stickers on it (110v, 50hz).
I rang the company i bought from, they assured me it will work fine, its just an incorrect lable. I was also only bundled with a US power chord.

Does the mpc accept a range of power specs or something? Can anyone clear this up for me??

cheers, many thanks

PEACE

no problem, the mpc 2000xl accept all ranges of power specs, you only need the right cable, it will internally switch to the right current. You do not even need to exchange the fuse.

Thanks dude, much appriated. Unfortunately the units case is dented underneath and warped by the screen, so it is being returned anyway. Can you believe i have had 2 of these from different companies now, the 1st had a faded screen (brand new) and now this!!!! AHHHHHHH someone save me, im considering getting a refund from this second companie.

Not sure if i even want an mpc anymore, its been so much hassle..

thanks man, peace
