I want to start learning how to layer drums in the mpc 1000 but one issue that i have run into is when i layer 2-3 kicks on one pad I can't adjust the parameters for each individual kick. It adjusts the parameters for the whole pad. I know in the MPC 2000 it has a function that allows you to throw drums in a layer and then individually edit the attack, decay, ect for each layer. Has anyone found a way to do this on the mpc 1000 or do i have to take care of all of that in a DAW like pro tools?
