Not surprising considering Synthstation49 was announced at last year's NAMM and it still hasn't been released.

Chances are the Ren will end up the same way. Who's to say it will even get released lol!

If release is not due till August NI are hot on their heels and they will have some exciting stuff out within the month. Price drops. Cheaper package deals etc.

What's the source for this? Can't believe the marketing hype would start now unless the product was pretty much finalised - otherwise it gives the competition a chance to retaliate before the Ren is even released.

Exactly...there is nothing wrong with asking for a link to the information...

they'll probably announce release dates at NAMM. Until then it's better to take everything with a grain of salt.

Especially as the hype is being so carefully choreographed.

I said from the start that I think the hype was to gain interest to see if it's worth releasing and to get peoples views to improve it before they go into production. I doubt a release date within the next couple of months is going to happen. If there was a date they would say so.

Exactly! This could be other companies like NI starting net rumors. If somebody was on the fence about buying either machines and wanted something right now and couldn't wait this might help sell more maschines
