There are many producers that use MPCs that Akai could consult with:
MPC 60: DJ Premiere, 45 King
MPC 3000: Dr. Dre, Havoc, Battle Cat, Eminem, D Dot
MPC 2000/2000XL: Kanye West, Q-Tip
MPC 2500: Alchemist, 9th Wonder, Showbiz
MPC 4000: Play-n-Skillz, Dark Child

..........not to mention all the feedback in the MPC Forums, Native Instrument Forums, and the MV Nation.

What makes you think Akai didn't consult one or all of the above?

some dudes is mad cos they favorite back backper producers are not marketing this new product to them.

not dis to large pro but just blaze is more releavent in the industry, again all due respect to the legendary xtra p.

u did not use the term cosign but u suggested that akai should of approached legends such as eric b and rakim and im saying the demographic of peeps that listen to them is not the primary target audience for the mpc ren.

i think the reason they consulted just blaze is because he recently made comments on the mpc5000 that lead to them making some changes so they see him as someone high profile, influential and they know if they can get him on board with the new product it will have a positive impact on the success and buy in for the new product.
