Machine and logic together blows the knobs off the 1000 logic combo fam! trust me. Machine's fast work flow is why my mpc 5000 is collecting dust. tracking out of your mpc1000 is a pain compared to getting maschine's tracks into a daw.
unless you, you know, need the sampling features that jjos has over maschine.
then maybe a user can stomach the 5-15 minute trackout "nightmare" haha
regarding workflow, workflow is more dependent on little things than big things.
ctrl C and V rather than right click/copy/paste.
alt tab switching between open windows.
i never have to wait for anything or trundle through inconvenient menus to get at what i need to get at. if there's a repetitive task, i make a macro for it and i suddenly have a button to do it for me.
workflow is what i make out of it. i'm sure maschine is a wonderful product. but it doesn't do things that i'd expect it to as a sampler. to be fair, neither does jjos, but it comes closest without sacrificing anything else.
