Very slick work man, great !!!! Visited your page, some next level finish...

True, Ghost MPC's on the next level, especially the black MPC-4000, it is just stunning...
Personally I'd like to see Ghost MPC's Electribe ESX custom paint in the future. Electribe ESX with black finish and Moog-type knobs and wood side panels would be dope.

Japan is the home of dopeness!! just love their whole attitude to hip hop

if you are living in the UK - these guys seem to be the go to for paintwork on your MPC - next time I'm flush (which may be never) I'd go to these guys with my 3000

I think I've stumbled on these dudes on eBay before, they have some beautifully restored gear, but that's reflected in the prices.

think I got qouted £300ish to get a MPC3000 done (depending on finish).

they do chrome too, but thats more expensive AND they said wiping off your fingerprints constantly can be a PITA.

the finish on their stuff and the re adding of the text etc is prob the best quality I've seen - some of the synths they have pimped out look sick - would love to get my roland SH-2 done

perhaps picking up VGA expansion would be better use of the ££ though

Most recent pic of my simple, humble, drawing board...

(not pictured - tx81z, sde-1000, midiverb II, dp2, 3630)

Mostly inexpensive, best bang for the buck, old, but yummy, goodies :)

my humble set up gathered in the last 3 weeks.. mpc3k / s3000xl / novation bass station / boss rdd 20 delay / 3 zip drives / flash card reader on the way
I still don't have all the leads or a zip disc (only just printed out the manual)
the s3000xl came super cheap with 3 zip drives so i grabbed it...was under the impression it had the same sound as the s3000 (ie similar or same as mpc3000) but opinions seem to differ round here!
