When I first got my XL, all it would give me is 10 seconds of sampling time we have came a long way :D

Anyway, I believe the maximum upgrade on RAM for the 500 would be 256 but it can only read 128mb. Check your connections, and does it do that when you use the headphones on any other device?

it only plays in one speaker or headphone (either the left speaker or right speaker), when i export it onto my laptop and then upload it to my serato itch to listen to it....

and no my headphones or speakers dont do that with any other devices... like even when im using the mpc with my headphones, both sides work on the headphones. its only after i save it and take the beat and move it out of the folder onto my desktop, then it only plays in one speaker or one side of the headphones

Upgrade your RAM and this 'one speaker thing' will stop.

There was a thread very similar to this one a few months back and the dude had the exact same problem.

If you max out the RAM you get just under 12 minutes sample time stereo and double mono.

The kid said his exported beats played fine once he'd maxed out the RAM
