Hello I think I'm missing something..
I have a few sequences that I want to bounce from my mpc as .wavs to a USB drive in order.
How do I do this? I can't find any way to bounce songs as .wavs I've looked in the manual and I can't find anything related to bouncing songs or sequences to audio files, but I'm sure it's possible on the 4000.
Help please!!

Okay thankyou for the reply, by sequence I mean I have a beat going on with a sample and bass on separate programs, perhaps loop is a better word. I managed to get the MIDI information by saving the sequence onto the USB, but that just gives me MIDI information like you say. I want the loop as an audio file with the sounds I have on the mpc, and to make it repeat so i got an instrumental that I can take about you know?

I might have figured it out.. Do I put the loops into the song area, create a song and convert it into a sequence, then go to record set intput to main out and record the loop, then save that sample to usb? The only problem with this is that I have limited free memory time so I don't know if there is a better method?

Stack up sequences in song mode then make sure your mutes are set up right, then record the internal sound in record mode.
can't explain it better as i'm busy. search the forums

Okay thanks for your reply's! I suppose when using an MPC to make a CD producers have an external mutlitracker or DAW and use the main outs.. I will search the forums I just didn't know how to explain it.

Yeah the standard idea is to track out into an external daw.

A resulting wave file of "record main outs" can be placed on a pad and given it's own track as well IF you have enough ram for this work though. That would be like a fake bounce I guess you can call it, not a traditional daw bounce though.
