Bass Scratch Sound?

Okay,

Maybe I am late to the party or maybe im going crazy, but does anyone ever get a natural pffit/pffit sound (like when a DJ scratches bass) when your samples collide? Cuz I am getting that natural sound and it is SICK.

I work all within the MPC and my record player isnt really built for scratching, so im super pumped about this naturally occurring sound. I was just wondering if anyone out there has experienced it or can explain it? Is it just bass muffled on bass cuz of EQ?
