Hey there,
I am getting familiar with my s950 right now. But i got a problem with it.
I made a program with drum samples and bass samples.
Every Drum sound has its own 1 note Keygroup and OneShot is set to "ON".
On the second midi channel i made 4 big keygroups for the range of bass samples.
now when I hear through the mix out its all okay. But as I now decided to seperate the drums and the bass into two signals. ( settting the ouptput to 1 for the drum keygroups and to 2 for the bass keygroups)
I have the following problem:

When there is a situation in my beat where the snare comes vor example at : 1.04.00 and shortly after that at 1.04.02 there comes a hihat, then the snare gets cut .
this only happens when i put it into an individual out.

Does anyone know what the problem is?

-Flo

EDIT: I just saw that the individual outs are all Mono so the riddle is solved, but is there no way to have the bass and drums seperated?

If you're using more than one sound/sample per indv-out, and plan to have more than one sound playing at the same time, it'll cut off the last sound, since each indv out is only monophonic (the stereo outs are poly)

Not always a bad thing and has its' uses... I use it this way to purposely "sound stutter" samples and "cutt-off" the previously played sample, something my mpc60 w/ 2.02OS can't do.
