Please Recommend a Dat machine, Brand and Model Number and Picture
if possible.

Do you HAVE to use a DAT? I would avoid them if possible. They break often and require periodic maintenance to keep them going.

Then again, if you HAVE to get, then I suspect you are spending someone else's money. Tascam makes pretty good models. The main differences being the features. I am not sure what additional features you require.

I'm looking for a high A/D and D/A Conversion rate (at Least 18 bit) and
Digital Outputs and Inputs

I'll be using Dat Machine to resample Drums into My MPC 3000 and S950 (to Make them louder) also to:

1) Back up Songs

2)Record vinyl to DAT

If you gota go that route, I would cop an Alesis Masterlink, instead of a DAT. It records up to 24-bit, 96K. It has EQ, Mastering and Compression tools built in. I heard that the converters are pretty good. You can also archive your stuff at 24-bits using CD-24 format. No tape related hassels. They are going for about 6-hun on ebay.
