djdeals used to be awesome but they have been seriously dropping the ball lately.

Again, this is what I mean : why did Akai not introduce the unit below that of it's direct competitor, Maschine ?

I just don't get this at all ... No point harking on about the new unit being viewed as inferior to the NI product if it's priced lower ( just before anyone chimes in with this suggestion ? ). Akai have misseda trick if this is the case ? I'd rather have seen them undercut Maschine and make a real point.

Two questions:
1. With something advertised at a real low/wrong price, wouldn't they be required to sell it at the price listed in their ad?
2. Could you try and use that listed price at guitar center?

So why do you care if Akai sells the MPC Studio at the same price? The best thing to do is to sell the MPC Studio and the same price or more....not less.

Shops are not required to sell you anything, nor are they required to honour mistakes. Most online stores these days make it clear that even after paying, your order is not 'accepted' until they send you a separate confirmation.

However, most countries have laws against false advertising - so advertising a low price to draw in customers but not actually being able to buy at that price is certainly not allowed in the UK/EU.
