pure awesomeness...although not likin limitation of 4 tracks, wassup with that...even garageband on ipad got 8 tracks not inlcuding all the other built in shit it come with...also I feel $200-300 is fair price for that controller thingy

I got an ole g iPad so I don't care about the fly controller as my unit doesn't fit. But I will be getting the app for sure it blows iMaschine out the water.

I honestly have paid iMaschine no mind. I saw a couple of screen shots and it just doesn't look appealing to me. But this app looks great, even just to **** around with for fun. I'm sure they will add more tracks later.

more impressed after seeing that demo. they need to expand the feature set some if they wanna pull in some real producers and not some hobbyists who just wanna **** around.

I use maschine along with iMaschine which works on my iPad and iPhone and it is nice for a sketchpad, drum practice and it mad easy to sequence. And the plus is you can drag the barebones session into your full size unit to finish. At work, lunch or on my daily commute I can put down a inspiration at a moments notice anywhere. Before I had to wait until I got home to my lab an hour later and the idea would be lost. So like any on composer with a notepad, guitarist with a recorder or a rapper daydreaming and scribbling rhymes down it is more than just hobbyist tools.

That said out of all the iPad drum machines SampleLab, iElectribe, iMaschine and etc. The sample editing, sequencing, timing resolution and the fact I can sample from my iTunes LIBRARY with a iDJay like built in app with turntable gip is nuts.
