exsisting files

Can someone PLEASE tell me why my mpc is saying a file already EXSISTS when I want to save, when it doesn't...???????

have you opened the sampe from the same folder? If so the sample exists in the RAM and in the folder you are trying to save it to. So Replace if you want to

ahhh thanks.. maybe its that, but its also does it when i make a new programme or SEQ...

This is why you make folders. Each folder I have has a project in it with all sample and programms ect for that project. And you can easily find a song and no conflict with saving over things you want to keep
