Except that you can use realtime timestretch in Maschine RIGHT NOW while these new "MPC"s are still proof-of-concept, work-in-progress prototypes that won't see the light of day for a long time.
Yes, you have to wait for its Summer release like all other MPCs before it...like most products advertised at Namm. You won't have to wait 2 years for it like the Tempest. Maschine was available in limited quanties 3 months after its Namm debut in 2009 and widely available 1-3 months after that depending on where you lived.
So.....when did Maschine get updated to have time stretch? I plan on installing the update now. Then I cancontinue to use it while Akai solidifies it's "proof of concept".
Saint Joe was hyped about these new MPCs and he is a Maschine supporter....
