Hi everybody,
I work with JJOS 1 and frequently use the audio tracks. But I still wonder how to save those sequences properly...
When I save the sequence, it will only save the .SEQ file. There is also no Program available referring to the audio track - samples, nor is any pad event data stored on those audio tracks. So do I have to remember the numbers of my takes (Take01, Take02 etc) and save those samples individually?
Furthermore, how do I reload those audio tracks/samples into the sequence after turning off/on the MPC and loading the sequence up again? Again by loading the individual samples into memory? Kind of an awkward solution if it turns out to be like that. Hope there is a simpler way to do it...
Kind regards, jakoby
[edit:] I don't want to use .PROJ files as I want to avoid to store the whole memory (just too much crap which does not belong to the current project).
And yet another question related to audio tracks: When using the 'purge unused samples', will the MPC detect that some samples are assigned to audio tracks (although not referred to in any program) or will it delete those samples? I'm regularly needing multiple takes when recording and I'm looking for a way to get rid of the takes which are not used anymore...
