Changing Pad Note Numbers. It can - but can I create a custo

I cant seem to work out if theres a way to change the 4k pads to specific note numbers. In this case Im creating drum kits in a VST drum machine which I will then transfer over to the 4k. I want the 4ks pad midi note numbers to correspond to the VSTs midi note numbers. Right now when I trigger the VST from the 4ks pads the drums are spread across 2 pad banks. I want them on 1 pad bank and to correspond exactly with the VST note numbers. This means I can programme the very same kits/midi in the 4k or the VST. Its a bit like having the MPC Ren, except I have the real deal as well

I can change the 4ks pad note numbers but I cant do it individually on a pad basis, or so it seems. Its seems to be a universal increment/decrement. I cant change the VSTs note numbers becasue the other notes not assigned to the 16 drum sounds are assigned to various parameters such as pattern change, voice mute etc.

Im sure I saw somewhere the ability to do this when I first got the 4k?

Seems I just found it in the programme assign section.
There is nothing I cant do with a 4k.
