Question for mpc1k & 4000 owners

I was wondering is there is MASTER EQ and compression on 4k?
Some way to EQ Compress all the signal from main outs?
Like it is on 1k.

Wait...there is no master compression on the MPC4000. You have to set it up as a send manually for every program.

I owned a 1K for 8 yrs. The FX in the 4000 are much more extensive, and most of them are superior to the 1K, but honestly the compression in the 4000 SUCKS compared to the 1000's compressor. I had to buy outboard compression for this reason (which goes further in the long run anyway)

Aren't there just the 4 sends going to L/R?

There's no master insert on the L/R outputs unless I've missed this completely.

The effects in the box aren't the best, they never have been, but still useable.
