I Want To Use AKAI LPD8 As A MPC..which software?

Like in AraabMuziks videos on YouTube, i just want to use it as a MPC asin that i want a beat or sound to trigger every time i press it on the pad

My recommendation would be to use either of these DAW's

Logic ,Fl Studio, Reason, or Ableton.

Since those are more music based. FL Studio has something called the FPC that is layered out like an MPC where you just drag a sound to a pad, press the pad its assign to on the LPD8 and your set. Its thats simple

I have Tried it with FPC on FlStudio but there is a slight delay, is there anyway of getting rid of the slight delay?

That delay is because of your soundcard. I'm guessing you are using the internal/built in one on the computer (and it's not a Mac)?

If that is the case, you either need to buy a soundcard with ASIO drivers, or you can get a free program called ASIO4ALL (google it), which will make your current "stock" card work a little better.

As for software, FL or Ableton are what I'd recommend. Ableton has a perfect little 8 pad drum unit called Impulse that would work great for your LPD8.
