Did somebody installed headphones jack in 60 MK1?
Anybody knows how this work is done :?:
Is this option possible only at Forat?

I live in Europe, and sending my 60 to Forat just to install headphones jack is very expen$ive for me. :(

Connect the stereo main outs to an amp that has a headphone jack, probably way cheaper to get a old used amp at a garage sale than to install a headphone jack. I am sure radio shack probably sells an adapter for stereo 1/4" to stereo headphone mini jack...

you won't need a headphone jack if you use a micro mixer or mixing console i have an mpc-60II and found absolutely no reason why i'll ever need the headphone jack as everything is listened to through the mixing board.

Toecutter, drumat!c - thanks,
but I need that jack when I go to non-studio environment;
plus it is very usefull when traveling and still wanting to make some beats.
I allways like to sample-capture something and lay down a track.

So I still need that info on headphones jack.

MIKEDEAN, what's up with that MKII schematics?

Well since I know Forat does it, maybe you can sweet talk that guy(Bruce I think from reading all the fourms). Follow when he leaves after work in Cali, then take him to a bar and get him drunk. Then extract the info that you need! ;-) I know that is no help, but couldnt you get the service manual for the 60II and maybe they would have some schematics that would give you some sort of idea. Maybe that is a really stupid idea.

Not the kind of mod I would recommend attempting.

it would need support circuitry,

Best way is to get a short insert cable and a quarter to quarter barrel, plug the 2 insert ends into the stereo out, then put the barrel on the TRS end, then plug your headphones in, and you're done.

That's for travel, you really should use your mixers headphone input, the modification is not something I would leave to DIY unless you really know what you are doing, schematics alone will not suffice, you'll also need to know how to fix anything you fry up in case you do.
