i am having problems when i load samples onto a program.help

i can play the sample on the pads when im in trim mode or when im in load screen but when i assign the samples onto the pads they do not play.i am using the free jjos with my mpc 2500. does anybody have an idea what might be the problem????? is it a bug??

Try to use the "option" knob (the one that flashes red when pressed) and then test your pads?

Maybe a pad is broken?
Did you try all the pads?

i tried all pads and no sound.but when im in trim mode or the load screen and i press all the pads i hear the sample.if all the pads are broken would i still be hearing the sample in trim and load mode??

Did you check your mixer? Or in program mode to see if any of the levels are down?
