Second
It should be an option to have the "new" way on the LCD.

1. Will VST plugin names and parameters be visible and controllable from the MPC eliminating the need to look at the computer screen?.
2. Have you incorporated the classic MPC 60/3000 'Gain Switch'? as overdriving the gain on samples added to the sound imo.
1. yes they will be shown on the hardware screen as well as in the sw.
2. yes, we have the same gain staging as the 3000. we label the switch line / mic, but it does the same thing. The original MPC3000 had a three position switch, but we went with a 2 because it was more definable, and you can get the same result by toggling high or low and adjusting the rec gain knob.
Thanks, thats great news.
Will the REN have any effects and processors based on your previous MPC's? as I find the below really useful:
MPC 2000/XL effects board
MPC 1000 Compressor, EQ
MPC 5000 synth

Definitely.
They are taking the 'old school' pretensions too far by leaving something out we've had in MPCs since 1997.

Yo!
Will the Ren be able to change the parameters, pitch, filter, timestrech etc, of a whole program at once like the 4K "ALL" or "ONE" mode?
and
Will the Ren, in chop mode, be able to have the chops independet of each other? so 1 chops end, or start point, can overlap another ones? just like they have on the Beat thang. see here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... Yso#t=244s
hope u find time to answer! peace!

unfortunately, that's not an MPC problem, per se, that's a lack of midi standard. some people use 1-128, some use 0-127, some use A11-B88. its the nature of the beast, and not something we can really "fix".

xparis001 wrote:2. working on that. we should have a video of what we've done in a few days. engineer says it's pretty hot...

we're not leaving it out, we're just putting it on a huge 21 inch screen in front of you.
