mpd 18 not sycing to tempo in logic?

my mpd 18 doesnt sync to the tempo i have in logic, isnt it supposed to do this automatically? im gonnna go poke aroudn in the midi settings of logic and see what i can find, i heard you can mess with the external internal sync setting, so im gonnna try that, anything else i could be checking?

the mpd editor doest have a place where you could set the tempo.

No... you cant do it manually either.. i know a couple of years ago the mpd editor had an option to set the tempo, but it was useless because even if your mpd tempo matched your prgrams tempo, its impossible to sync your mpd with your sequencer, its simply not capable of doing this. i know the newer mpds even removed the note repeat, swing, tempo options from the layout, so i'd assume they removed the option to set the tempo from the editor..

wow, i didnt know that why would they put a note repeat on the older ones in the first place then? just for live playing or something? i wonder what its set at normally?

its weird that they would even put note repeat on them if you werent really able to use it.
