I'll admit that i've had my MPC (1000, running on JJ OS1 4.99) but i've read the manual and done plenty of searches and can't find a solution to my problem, or even anyone else having the same problem.

Basically, I have two sequences, 1 and 2, using two programs, 1 and 2 respectively. Both sequences have different synth loops and I have set slider Q1 to control the filter in both instances. When I hit the pad the slider will control the filter on both but when I play the sequence, only one of them will control the filter, the other will have no filter on at all.

I can fix this by re-inputting the note into the sequence but then the same problem will happen but the other way around.

Has anyone had this problem or know of a solution? And if it's a really well known, easy fix then please don't be too mean to me. Thanks a lot.

are the synth loops on different tracks?
you can only have 1 realtime & 1 note on qlink active simultaneously per track.

are you using simult sequence?

do you have the AFTER button on the qlinks lit up?
the AFTER button needs to be OFF to playback recorded qlink data.

Thanks for the replies.

The loops are on different tracks but they are also on different sequences so surely they shouldn't affect each other?

I've tried with after button on and off and the problem still occurs. I'm not using the slider to input any data i'm just using it to control the filter whilst the track plays the loop.

Thanks again.

Fixed now guys!

Sorry, it's embarrassingly simple really. I wasn't actually on the track with the loop on so it wasn't having any effect, like you said Sooty.

Cheers everyone.
