any sound/ rendered samples only comes out of one speaker. n

at first, I thought this was only a problem with the headphone jack
but then I transferred the finished product to my computer, and the sound only comes out of one speaker.
is this a problem with the mpc itself, or is it a setting that I seemed to have missed, or is it an issue of RAM?
it only comes out of the left speaker, by the way. I tried switching recording option to stereo instead of mono L, but that didn't help either.
any help is appreciated.

Plug in the other speaker jack ass!!!!!

I'm gonna have to say the answer above is probably correct. There's only a couple ways you can get sound out of one side, not plugging in left or right or your headphone could be busted. Another problem could be that you have samples panned all the way in a direction, but I doubt that you did that. I know I don't want to make ya feel dumb, of course we were all newbs at a point in time, but make sure you check your connections.

it's one jack, "jackass" it's not an issue of speakers.
I thought it was my fault, so I tried every jack possible. it's not that.

the sample is coming from FL Studio, which I use to cut them up and all of that.

as a test, I loaded a sample into the MPC which I had double checked was at 44khz/16 bit, I made sure my speakers on the computer are stereo compatible, and they WERE coming out both speakers, I saved it to one of the pads, recorded it, made it into a wav file, and put it on my computer. it only comes out of one speaker, the left one -_-

Ok so as far as a troubleshooting method, you already know it has something to do with your computer. That's pretty confusing, but maybe you should use another program or reinstall the program that you're using. It sounds like a sound driver and/or an issue with your speakers.

So when you say "recorded it, made it into a wav file", did you record the output of your main to make a new wav file on the MPC? If so, did you record in mono? That might be it.
