Why are Maschine users so mad

i dont think any maschine users on this forum are mad like im a maschine user i love it had it for a year gets the job done, there are a few extra shits they can add but for the most pasrt im happy.

i plan on getting a ren and have the two sisde by side for 6months to evaluate if i decide i dont need or want to use the maschine anymore i will sell.

prior to having the maschine i had the mpc1k and i prefer the maschine to the 1k.

as with maschine i get shit done alot faster and can access all my sound sources on the pc with ease.

this new ren should give me the things i like about the mp like the solid build and the sequncings and layering combined with the speed and integration of maschine plus the added joy of proper a/d and d/a and the ability to use vintage mode on the those outs and ins is gonna be ridcolous.

dam the music equipment game is so nice right now i really have to envy the youngsters just starting out in music cos the options they have is amazing when combined with the free time the late teens and early 20's guys have they are just in heaven with these kinds of tools

so ur saying using a tool like maschine or the mpc ren makes u lazy? that dont compute

i know some peeps get angry when new equipment comes out as it makes it easier to get the kind of sound ur looking for but thats technology.

like by ur rationel that means if a producer uses timestrech that makes him lazy?

i dont need or use timestrech but many people find it to be an important tool, like there are peeps at the ni forum wishing death on ni for not including that feature.

Like, by my rationale I'm saying teens and people in their early 20's are a stereotypically lazy bunch. I know... I'm one of them. Nothing to do with equipment brother, just a joke on behalf of the lazy youth movement.

I plan on living until I'm well into my 100's so my middle age doesn't start until I hit 50 officially. Which means i'm not even in my quarter-life crisis period yet. That's when I'll panic buy a Tempest to try and re-live my teen years

Also when a product is that good, it's worth waiting for. I promise you as with anything Linn puts his name on people will be using them in another 20 years or more without doubt.

Not sure what the Linn plug is though jpeg, sounds interesting though dude. Is it a plugin suite?

To me they are mad because out of the gate Akai is coming with features that "maschine" users (including me) have been requesting for a long time.

I've been a MPC user since 1993 (MPC60II) and nothing compares to the workflow.

I'm only a maschine user because up until now it's the closest thing to an MPC in terms of feel etc that has the ability to quickly edit/modify waveforms. However the sequencer on the <B>1tch has to go.

Also for all the maschine users complaining stating that Akai won't do this, Akai won't do that. Remember NI is notorious for discontinuing/changing product lines..
