Yo I didn't knw this thread was gonna get so much attention. I think we all as a collective should just let it be, maschine was great for that first week you had it, and you knw, thats ok. When I asked that question I really referring to the things that be going on, over at the NI forum, you had mods shutting down post just because it wasn't pro NI, and I hated that about that site, there mods can suck ass. :P :P . I got banned for a day from the forums, I thought that was so funny. Anyway Maschine and the Ren will find there common bond, I know it.

jpeg wrote:the funny thing is alotta dudes **** on maschine and love the new mpc's even thought its based on the same concept of a hardware controller tightly intergrated with the software.

"Concept" is one thing. Implementation of that concept is completely dfferent. Maschine is a groove box. MPC Ren is a multitrack sequencer.

^^^ I agree with what he said, true dat. I'd rather the MPC over Maschine, the feel the pads the sequencing is the best in the world!!! The concept of going computer base been out there Akai just didn't step that direction. It's kinda smart on their end because they get to sit back and see what the other one doesn't have and then come with the wickedness like their doing!

bruv this new mpc is the same as maschine in concept all that sequencer shit u saying jahrhome u know its the same shit yes akai pioneered it but the boxes essentially do the same thing.

but peeps only give certain ideas creeedance if it comes from a big name but guess thats human nature.

like many peeps wont like an artist unless they have been cosigned by a well known artist.
