Whats a good price?

How much would you drop for a used mpc 1000? I've been searching for the longest time but can't seem to find a good deal. Dudes on craigslist are asking $500 for a blue/red one, ebay isnt working out, and the only other place really is a used unit from guitar center

usually the red and blue ones go cheaper than the black models. i actually have a blue and red model on the way for $340 s/h included that i won on ebay last week.

i see the black models go from $380-$550, usually in the 400 range though.

I picked my black mpc 1000, brand new for £399 two years ago tho from hard to find records. Just keep searching your find a good deal out there

I got mine used, stock mpc1k, for $430, but I've heard of people getting ones with upgraded memory and all for the same price. Didn't find it immediately though.

I second tagone, just keep looking.

just keep searching man. ive been looking for around a month and finally found a black mpc 1000 for $325 this past weekend. I suggest checking http://used.guitarcenter.com a lot. i see new listings about every other day. if its out of your city you can give em a call and have it shipped to you. good luck

Think I've been in a time warp, I actually brought mine in 2008 .

Just keep in mind that if it's a unit with the old style pads it's another $175 to replace the bad pads.

Hiya i'm new here. I lucked out on Ebay and recently got a MPC1000 with JJ OS, 128MB RAM and 80GIG hard drive for £280. They normally sell anywhere from £300 up to £600 depending on mods/upgrades etc.
