Problem with Mixdown :(

I've compiled sequences for 2 songs in Song Mode. The first one I was able to mixdown and export with no problem, for the second one, the Record (F2) function won't come up as an option. I've got "Song" "HD Rec" "Delete" and "Insert". Obviously, I'm doing something way wrong, and I'm not sure what terminology to look up in the reference manual. Can someone please help a brother out?

You didn't even detail what gear you using, what OS are you on, NOTHING?!?
