I'll be honest. I'll probably rarely look at the MPC screen for chopping, since I favor looking at the computer monitor when chopping in Maschine. However, just like with the requests for all the different note repeat timings for the F-Keys that were made, I'd rather have the most options, just in case. Just like just in case that one time arrives where some of you actually wanna use 1/64 note repeat!

yeah instead of the usual 1/64 triplets

it makes sense to have numbers or graphic waveform as an option in Ren. Ren seems to be all about options, options in behaviors and sound. why not editing preference?
