If u have got 2 mpc's, Just wondering how u are using them together for recording purposes. For live applications, I can see how it would be very usefull... Just trying to find out more about slaving one mpc to another for the production side of things. More specifically, a 2000xl and a 3000le.

i've heard of some people using 2 or more mpc's and only using one of them for chopping samples and playback and another mpc for drums/percussion, etc.

maybe some people do it to save space on their cards/memory, idk...the bigger mpc's could easily do everything, i guess it boils down to personal preference and workflow for people..

Thanks for the replies. If u are using 2 mpc's linked together, how would u arrange in song mode? Does the slave mpc work together from the master mpc's song? Not sure how this would work. I like the idea of having more outputs for mix down.

what would be the best way to hook dat ish up yo?

i got a 2500 and a 60ii.. 2500 as main sequencer, midi it up in and out to 60, then turn program off on track and set midi channels just like a keyboard?
or is there a better way?

run the 2500 as the master, and trigger any 60 sounds with 2500 as well. I usually do drums only in the 60, maybe a bass, and record the sequence in the 4k. Just midi out from the 2500 to midi in on the 60 and set the midi channel to the proper track.
