volume levels shooting all the way up on motif rack when i p

Hi, When I press play on my mpc the volume on my motif es rack shoots all the way to full level and the pannings go back to the center on every recored track, i am playing the midi parts with a midi keyboard, What is going on?

try setting the pannings and volumes for the motif from the mpc in track mix.

I found that the mixer volume needs to be set as by default its set to top volume. I had similar issue with Slim Phatty. thought it was my slim but it turns out that all i really needed to do was go to mixer on the 5000 and turn down the track in the sequnce if not it will send message to bosst volume to top volume

is this something that we can maybe have more control over in the 5000 os update? maybe a setting in the midi menu to ignore midi volume messages if we want? or maybe allow outboard gear to control its own volume somehow?
