Based on eBay prices that actually sell, right around that with those features. $1200 on a good day. If you do decide to sell, let me know....I've been looking for one maxed out like that, lol.

Yeh I suppose it all depends how long you are willing to wait for it to sell. You can either list it for a bit cheaper and have a quick sale, or get what you really want for it, but may have to wait weeks or months. I'd say £1200 for a maxed out one with vailixi was very good. I'm in the UK and I would say 1200 GBP's would be a good deal for a fully maxed one with 3.5!

If I was you, I wouldn't list it for anything below $1500 unless you were desperate.

thx for the input.
im hoping i dont have to sell it.
i know with vailixi possibly going extinct it may be worth more.
and if money gets tight, then i may have to part with it.

yeh that's the things with the 3ks, I was in the same position as you and decided to sell mine. That and getting pissed off with this whole vailixi situation made me just want to get shot of it. But I would like to cop one again, but right now I am happy with the 2k+60ii setup. 60 just for drums and the 2k for the rest.

Thats the only bad thing about the 3k, the insanely high prices. Good if you own one and are going to sell, but bad if you wanna cop one. Anything over a G is a serious investment when it comes to studio gear. I suppose one thing it has got going for it is that the price is certainly not going to depreciate like all the new mpcs. Sort of like an old classic car

3000 LEs in uk (that offer global postage) can got for £1200 regardless of OS or drive installs. have noticed that a LOT of the LE's sold on ebay end up getting relisted several times due to BS with lame bidders not paying up.

3000 classics can go for half that - I got mine for £500, but did the RAM, CF internal and possibly 2nd hand official 3.5os (watch this space). so all in thats closer to £700.

cleaning my pad sensors next week, if that doesn't help I'll be cashing on new sensors too next month - all adds up!!

so far it feels worth it though.

word. i forgot i also bought new sensor sheet and black pads. i was nervous installing the sheet tho being u only really get one chance to get it right. i actually gota open the hood back up and re-apply deoxit to all the buttons. keeps them on point.

Yeh I think the problem is alot of the time is people are way too optimistic (almost to the point of being delirious) about how much their units are worth. I have seen a few LE's listed for 2k+... but they don't ever sell they just sit there. I wouldnt pay £1200 for a bog standard LE, to me that's too steap.

I know some people like the machines to be original, but personally I like to have it running at it's full capabilities. If you were going to run a 3k standard, I would say don't waste your time and just get a 60 with 3.10. I know the ram is a bit sucky on the 60s but really for the price of a 3k, you could have 2 60's lol. And for the price of a standard LE, you could have a whole squadron of 60's

yeh man, Im UK like you, but I copped one from the US for $400. Is a real sweet 60ii. By the time I got it shipped and through customs came to about £360... bargain if you ask me. Got to run her on a 240 110 stepdown, but no sweat.
