I noticed that "Prah_860_" has a a picture that goes with his name,
an MPC 2000 with a built in ZIP drive.
What are the specifications, what is the exact type (model, make, serial number) that would go in the MPC2000,
(when I was shopping for a new zip drive, THEY said it wasn't possible)

Thanks in Advance

To put an internal zip in an MPC2000 requires extensive modifications to the internal board - not something most people can do themselves - I dont think the standard 2000 has an IDE port inside. Not sure if it has a SCSI port inside though - if that was the case, an internal SCSI zip could be used.

There was a store in the UK that used to advertise standard 2000's with a 'factory installed' internal zip drive.

The only internal port on the MPC2000 is the floppy port. Like Tutor mentioned, to modify the existing SCSI port would require an extensive mod to the mainboard.

There was no factory internal zip for the MPC2000.
