First, youtube MURDERS the audio quality, even in HD videos. So the sound is still like 128kbps mp3 quality.

Second, they would have to sample in, track out, and post a high quality wav file somewhere online. But by the time it plays through whatever you are listening to it on, you're not gonna hear the true sound anyway.

The only way to truly hear what it sounds like is to physically have one in front of you.

But yeah, I'm really curious to hear how it sounds as well! I'm sure everyone is!

not really beyond it's awesome. sorry!

Sounds like something Steve Jobs would have said.

Ok, well 1k owners specifically would like to know that this new tech is going to last longer than 6 months. Can you confirm that this will be the case?

It's not new technology, it's just like the old ones in the regular size pads, except it's a different part.

So yes, it will last longer than 6 months.

Lol like I always say, I don't make beats, I make the machines that make the beats. That's your jobs! :)

Cool. 8)

By the way, your mate Matt Stiff looks a lot like Stephen Merchant (Ricky Gervaise's writing partner)

And Toofo looks like Frank Lampard (famous UK footballer)

Good work Dan and keep the videos coming. If you want to post up audio, you could try on soundcloud the same as Akai does now for free audio samples! :?:

hey thats a good idea, maybe we'll hide simon in the software somewhere!

That actually is not a bad idea. where I am at here in china there lots of arcades, there is one that has pads like an mpc, its sort of like guitar hero on the mpc. the pads light up and you have to hit them and follow along to the screen guitar hero style.

hmmmm.............maybe MPC HERO!!!!

The lights are cool maybe integrate pad mutes or track mutes too while they are at it. Or what the hell! Color code my chops like regions in logic lay them out across the pads with intro, chorus, verse, break sort of like the live looping on the 4k akin to ableton live once all of the joints were set at the same bpm. I guess like you 25k patch phrases for live usage. :?:

.........lolz its true, those damn arcades always has someone playing that one. When i first saw it out of the corner of my eye i thought "sweet an mpc" then realized it was a game :(
