Didn't "labcoats" post up a lot of that info somewhere in recent past threads.

Effectively, it's around 2ms. Technically, the mpc5000 has the least, and the 4000 has the most, but their all around 2ms.

Dan ,so your saying u got the RENs latency as low as a stand alone Mpc?wow!if this is true I'm happy.

I've always told my peers that the 4k never felt as tight( or the first 2k) as previous models now I know why....I'm very sensitive to latency(u probably noticed how many times I asked ?s about latency.)lol again great job and thanks I really appreciate the input you are giving all of us ....now more software videos and behind the scenes development clips.....this forum has become my favorite internet pastime .its like a reality show .....addictive,lol

I got it to 2 ms or less on a MacBook 15" with an i5 processor. It is cmputer dependent, but if you have a good machine, you should be able to get the same.

2ms of latency sounds impressive. I just recently purchased a PC Win7, 64 Bit with an i5 processor. It has 4GB of Ram that I will upgrade to 8 GB. I was thinking of dedicating this computer to the MPC Ren. But I am also considering buying an entry level Mac Pro (tower).

I just took it as if he had been locked in a basement without any contact with the outside world for the past two decades.

MPC 3000: 17.3" x 4.77" x 15.9" , 19.8 lbs
MPC Ren: 19.75" x 2.75" x 12.9", 10.5 lbs

MPC Ren is slightly wider, lower profile, and shorter in length...and of course half the weight of the MPC 3000.
