MPC5000 reviews, bug reports and fellow user support on the most recent standalone, hardware MPC from Akai

I've taken my 5000 apart a few times for different reasons and my 2 front panel screws are starting to shred pretty bad. I'm sure after another 2-3 times they'll be done. I've looked at Home Depot and RadioShack but I can't seem to find the right size/threading.

Anyone have any details on those particular screws, and/or a good place to look?

I recommend finding one the right width and threading. If they're too long, you can always cut them to the right size with a hacksaw. Definitely check out those House of Nuts and Screws places, they can probably make you some for .30 cents a screw. Well, they do where I live.

Well of course I want to find the one with the proper circumference and threading...that's what I was asking. Well I live in Atlanta so I'll see if I can find a place to make one. Thanks

House of Nuts and Screws? Sounds like a brothel

If you're in ATL, I'd say grab a screwdriver and head to Guitar Center*... 8)
