usually every time I record, I listen to it afterward on my computer and sounds low, you usually have to turn the volume way up to listen to it, even though its at the highest record setting without being distorted on my mpc.. is there a way I can bring the volume up or does it have to be done with somekind of a computer program? thanks.

Assuming you're on the record screen recording "main out", this I would guess is your issue:

On one of the pad modes, I can't remember which, there's a setting called "global level".

It's default at -12db, which makes it safe to have all your samples at 100 mix level and still have enough headroom.
But it makes recording internally from the main out quiet.

Put it at 0db, and the recordings will be the proper level. But you just have to be careful to keep the volume of your samples down a bit, or they'll clip. I find that putting them all at ~70-75% works nicely. Super easy to do if you're on the free jjos like I and you go to the global program mode, just use the whole mode and bring every pad level down to 73.

This also gives you a bit of freedom if you ever need to get one pad louder than the rest.

thanks that solved it ! i got another question.. for some reason my mpc doesnt let me record 2 different sequences as a song, in song mode when I play the first sequence then I go to record it. It only plays that first sequence and loops it. Any idea why that could be?

Make several sequences.

Go into song mode and then chain those sequences together in whatever order you want.

That whole chain of sequences is known as a "song".

You should get into your manual more and figure out your basics.
