Fail....Has anyone else tried this?

Just got my black pads and silver slider caps in the mail today. I was going to purchase the black jog wheel but it was out of stock so I figured I'd try spraying the cursor and jog wheel with this "Krylon Fusion (Black Gloss) spray for plastic" that I picked up at Walmart PAUSE.......... the cursor is stiffer than my drinks and the jog wheel barely even turns SMH.....back to mpcstuff.com I go ....lessoned learned.

yeah you applied too much I guess.. paint prolly increased the thickness

but wait though.. get some fine sand paper.. sand it down as much as you can... then apply more paint, but make sure you spray it on as a mist... those fusion cans are a bit restrictive because they use those damn blue caps so you cant change them for after market caps.. none the less.. try to fume the paint on. good luck.

hahaah I did the same to the jog wheel...I ended up using water bottle cap then solid metal cologne cap while I was waiting for my black jog wheel to arrive.

i just bought this last night....how does it work with bottons?

Haven't tried the buttons yet but i'm sure it will work better

Sand down to appearance it was before, then sand a little more before painting.
