MPC 2000 XL - Question on Fruity Loop Sync and Assigning Pad

Hello,
Hope somebody can help me.

Basically I want to use it as a MIDI-Controller, so I can use the Pads of the MPC as trigger to play a sound in Fruity Loops.
Now I think I've connected the MPC correctly. I've got only one MIDI-Cable, which is connected from the Out A of the MPC to the IN of my Presonus Audiobox, which is further connected to my Macbook using USB.

My MPC 2000XL Sync settings are Sync In on Off and Sync Out on A (as mentioned before) the Mode is set on Midi Time Code, Frame Rate is 30. I've also set the MMC on On.

As for my Problem:
If I press play on the MPC and it will also start playing in Fruity Loops, same with Rec. So I assume It's synced?
How can I assign the Pads on Fruity Loops now, I've tried it by Hitting after learn, but it doesn't save the Pads.
Something I forgot to set up?

you should be able to change the pad's midi note numbers in the mpc itself.. no?

Thanks a lot, you were right! Just had to change it on the Main Screen (Set DRUM 1/2/3/4 or whatever to MIDI and 10A-Device10).

So my actual problem is solved, but now I'm having another one, I'm sure I'll figure it out in time, but if you could help me that would also be nice.

If I want to Record different Patterns with my MPC and FPC, do I have to create a separate FPC Channel for every Pattern I want to play with my MPC?
For example:
In one pattern I want to have my Drums and in another one I want to have my instrumental/sample/whatever.

Alright, I also solved this one. As far as I see it, you need a different FPC Channel everytime you want a Pad with new sounds, but you can also use FPC Channels which are already in use if you want to play with the same Sounds on a different Pattern.
In case that you want to switch the FPC you are using in Fruity Loop / FL Studio just turn off the green lamp next to FPC on the right in the Pattern.
Your MPC will play all the FPC Channels on which the green light is on, so you need to deactivate them if you don't want other sounds to be played / if you only want to use one FPC.
