Floppy drive -> CF Reader power requirements?

This question is probably best answered by MPC3000, but in case anyone else happened to know, is a special power cable/hack required in order to replace the stock floppy drive w/ a CF reader? If so, does anyone know what or how to do to this?

I'm wondering if it's the same thing that's shown on the MPC2000XL.com website for installing a ZIP drive. (BTW this is for an MPC2k XL.) Oh, and has anybody actually found an internal CF reader (that works w/ MPC) that's not ridiculously expensive?

Modifying the power is the same for installing a Zip.

I have never paid more than 20 USD for a used SCSI CF reader. I even just bought one for $10 last week.

where can i find one? (scsi cf reader)
