I know we need to use a Type II compact flash card. Now after searching on this site, its seems some manufacturers cards do not work for whatever apparent reason. Can someone please specify which ones work, and which ones are junk?
Type II cards by:
-Toshiba
-Sandisk
-Kingston
-Simpletech
-Magicstor
-PQI
-Transcend
-Lexar
-Microtech
----------------Any help: Greatly appreciated! God Bless!

"its seems some manufacturers cards do not work for whatever apparent reason"

Huh? I have not seen a report of a CF card NOT working, nor does a search turn up such a report.

If you take a look at the MPC1000 Ram and CF cards recommendations thread, you will see that even type 1 cards work.

The manual states that any (ie type 1 or 2) Compact Flash card will work.

Unless, of course, they are defective. I'd be willing to bet that's what the "one or two" posts were about.
