my homies that make beats on fruity loops be trippin out on all the shit that goes into midi and that you actually have to learn a bit of it to use the vintage machines that ive been slowly learning to use... it seems that all these software programs and sequencers do it all for you behind the scenes so that you dont have to really know shiz, kinda like WINDOWS does for DOS...

too bad i never learned DOS...

It's all the same result afterwards. Hot music right. Diggin in the crates to me is diggin for music samples, anyway you put it you are still seraching for samples right? Doesn't matter where they are, just find em and use em. Do they HAVE to be in a milkcrate, no, of course not. They can be under the kitchen sink as far as I'm concerned.
