I jus wanted to see if anyone could give me a little help on choppin Soul i mean i know how to chop a sample n loop it on a diff tempo bt i wna knw how to get a good chop and how to create melodys like the alchemist, Pete rock using the chops Thanks.

sample 4 bars. make sure the loop points are seemless, autochop into 16 equal parts, save as new pgm
now its spread across 16 pads and you can play it in various patterns until you find some pattern that sounds good to you... or play it straight out in time with a 4 bar sequence from pad 1 to pad 16.
