S-3000 creating new programs

It says in the manual to create program from the single page, but when I press the new buttons, I can say new program names, like test program 1, 2, 3 etc.. appearing, but in the single page, no other program than the default test program is there.

What am I doing wrong here?

Anybody knowing these units?

I haven't used my s3000 for a long time, but from memory, you can't create a new program from scratch.
What you got to do is copy the "test program" (it's loaded by default when you turn the sampler on), then change the name, the key mapping etc....
The best thing to do is create a template program with this method and save it to disk (or hard drive if you got one in the unit). So whenever you want to create a new program, you load your template and then you're ready to go.

Yeah, the beat in my sig was done with the s3000 triggered by the mpc2500.
