im just learning how to use the mpc. i just loaded some samples and a program on it. when i try to record a track, it only records the sample from pad 1, even though im hitting a different pad. how do i fix this?

are you using the individual outs or the stereo outs? have you looked in the 'mixer' screen'?
what do you mean when you say 'record a track'?

im just using headphones through the phone out.

when i use the [rec+play start] it saves it as if im hitting Pad 1, but im not. it only does this with the aftermarket program, not the ones that are preloaded, so im thinking that i didn't load or save the samples/programs correctly to the mpc.
