Hey Everybody!
Nice to register in such an informative forum!
Just got my Mpc 2000 few days ago and copped me a Inkel 12 Channel "Vintage" Mixer..my only compression/mixing/tuning .
So i was wondering, since i dont want to use any computer station or laptop to mix or record my beats,
what can you recommend?
I prefer cd recording, because i just want to hold something in my hands after the recording and burning process, but, it would be also good to have an hd in it, or an sd cars space to save beats if i dont immediatly record them on cd.
At first i thought about getting a cheap handheld audio recorder, because the quality is good.
But as i said, i also want to burn those beat cds for friends ect. to have something in my hand when giving away. : )
this is what i found till now.
Korg D12 for 120 pounds
Roland CD2i for 560 pounds (little expensive and i was wondering why? i can only record two channels while there are producingstations which also have an sd card slot, cd burner..but also a mixer and effects..)
Tascam DP-02 for 270 pounds
So, i just want to keep my beats away from my comuter.
uploading it on youtube ect. afterwards is something else, but until the beats arent finished on cd disc, i dont want them to touch the pc.
i know the mpc and the recordingstation are also computers in a way, but you know what i mean ; )
all the best!
