I don't know if this bug/behavior has been reported yet with the free JJOS 3.12 :

If I'm playing back a sequence that has a looped section that comprises *only a certain number of bars* from the whole sequence, I noticed that I can use the note repeat if I am inside the looped section of the sequence but not if I'm outside of the looped section.

Is there a special setting/workaround for this?

Is this also the case with other versions of JJOS?

For example:

Create simple 4 bar sequence , loop only bars 3-4 of the sequence and then try to play with note repeat over the playback of bars 1-2.

The note repeat will not work over bars 1-2...it will only work over 3-4.

I find that somewhat problematic, because with the Akai OS, I used to play with the note repeat over a non-looped section on one of my songs. Now this makes me hesitate about paying for OS1/2/2XL.

Do you know if OS1/2/2XL has a different kind of loop mode (maybe "pattern" mode on OS2XL?) that solves that problem?

I also wish it was possible to switch the sequence loop on/off during playback.
