You're the only one that can really answer that question, if you're lookin' for nice string or brass sounds you wouln't go with the World or Lead roms now would you. Figure out what kind of sounds you're looking for and then cats can help you out better.

hahahaha. for real. i didnt know they started givin the retards internet access at the special home.

i make rap hip hop and rnb stuff too, but i use all types of sounds, i don't limit, i use techno, i like dnb, whatever, i jus make music, that's why i asked what type of sounds, check out the emu website and see what they got, most likely you will have to get your rom second hand cuz last i checked they were pretty low at emu, but you can look and see what they offer

heres an idea

world/ethnic sounds
techno/electro sounds
leads/synths
vintage keyboards
composer (general bread and butter)
orchestra

for the record, i got the composer(proteus), beat garden, and protazoa

composer has the stuff not on the mophatt, like regular pianos, winds, brass, more basses, electric pianos, strings, the general stuff

it's a good addition, either that or the sounds of the zr, which has almost the same type of stuff, but i heard the piano is better

im thinking about either the protean drums which has to be good as resellers on ebay are sellign for a value of 300 ! has to be worht it why would it be so high if it wasnt

yeah i wouldn't mind havin the protean drums, it's suppose to be real nice, they have a kit on there called 1200 remix, based off the sp 1200 i know it prolly don't sound like it but it can be close, you'll get some nice drums kits on there for sure, jus by looking at the names of them makes me want it more

oh, my mophatt keyboard had 3 slots, i thought they all had that many, sorry

so u have keyboard i have the sound module

i mean i got the preset listing so you can see what is in each rom, it is a copy of the manual that will show you all the presets and instruments, i used them to pick what i was gonna get, they help give you and idea of what is in there
