Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

I looked at the MPC1000 and it didn't seem like I could load sounds into it unless I had some type of PC.. I hate PCs, therefore I am looking for a MPC2000XL. I don't want to pay over $800 for it due to it being used. I may throw in another $50 if you fot them goodies to go with it. I plan to buy it on 15NOV04. It would also help to if you lived in the CA area..(Same time; Same time- man I don't know you.....)Holla

i got a friend who has one w/ 8 outs, spdf, efx, and zip drive he got it for 1100 or 1200 a couple years ago. We never integrated it into our setup because we ended up using macs for the same process. So its been sitting in a box ever since. He would probably let it go for 8 or 900.
